About us
We've been home to the 24/7 celebration of African and African-Caribbean culture, music, people and passion for nearly 20 years.We broadcast across DAB radio and live from our dedicated website every day.
You'll also find us right in the middle of some of the community's biggest events.
As we move into a new phase, we’re looking for creative people and ways to tell bold and brave stories.
About you
You’ll be a DJ who lives and breathes music and has lived experience as part of the African diaspora.
You should also have previous experience using vinyl and CD decks, operating a studio desk (preferred) and talking on-air and camera.
With your unique voice and take on your genre, you should love spinning popular and rare grooves and talking about music with guests and callers.
The role
We'd love to hear from you if you're obsessed with either:
- hip hop
- funk
- electronica
What's on offer
You should be able to commit to performing a live, two-hour show once a week.
This will include using our social media guidelines to share messages before, during and after the show.
You should also be able to take feedback and work with our team to develop your show and build engagement across channels.
